Description

Make your own fresh kombucha tea at home easily!

Boil the kettle, dissolve some sugar and brew some tea. Let it cool, add your scoby and forget about it for 10 days.

That’s how easy it is to make kombucha tea at home.

Take a bottle to a BBQ, serve at parties, enjoy at picnics, drink for better gut health*, or indulge in flavoured fizzy without the sugar.

Each batch of fresh Kombucha tea will grow a fresh scoby for your next batch.

You can reuse each scoby several times, so one kit is all you need to start and grow a collection (if one brew on the go is not enough!)

Flavour your tea with fruit tea, a small amount of fresh fruit (chopped), herbs like mint and ginger or fruit juice.

Brewing your own Kombucha tea is not only healthy, easy and fresh, it’s also really, really affordable. (The cost of 1/2 cup sugar and 2 tea bags per batch. On my shopping bill it’s about $0.30).

In the kit
– Fresh scoby
– Starter tea (made with green tea and black tea)
– Easy to follow instructions

You will need
Large jar (at least 1.5 litres
– Bottles that seal
– Tea bags (Green & Black)
– Sugar
– Heatproof jug
– Fruit or herb flavourings

Your health
If you have sensitive health issues, you may need to consult with your doctor to confirm that consuming kombucha tea is right for you. It can take time for your body to adjust to drinking kombucha tea. For some people it can cause tummy upset and other side effects.

Tasty and easy to make

I’m new to kombucha, however found this really quite simple following Mary-Jane’s process. I was delighted when my first batch worked perfectly, and had fun with the flavors (berry was my favorite). Very tasty tea, thank you!
